Report writing for international law firm Bird & Bird

Wordsworks copywriting agency was commissioned to write and edit a 3,500 thought-leadership report for international law firm Bird & Bird.

Bird & Bird has over 1100 lawyers in 26 offices across the globe. The firm was organising a series of three employment law events aimed at corporates in Denmark, Finland and Sweden.

The aim was to compare the employment law regimes in each country, flagging up the risks and pitfalls for the ill-prepared or under-informed.

The events were all successful well attended. To make the most of the knowledge and information that was shared by speakers and delegates, the firm wanted to capture some of the key points in a post-event white paper.

Aware of our expertise in the professional services sector, the business development manager at Bird & Bird approached Wordsworks copywriting to write the content for the publication.

We were provided with outline power point slides from each presentation to gives us an overview of the topics. These were supplement with a series of telephone interviews from our base in Manchester with the lead partners in Denmark, Finland and Sweden, along with close liaison with the communications team in London.

Based on this source information, we developed and drafted a 3,500 white paper distilling the agreed key messages into informative, insightful and engaging prose, including quotes and pull-out stats.

The paper was distributed to both attendees and other contacts of the employment team. It was very well received and resulted in a number of new enquiries for the firm.
