Wordsworks
Wordsworks is a specialist copywriting and communications agency based in Manchester, UK.
Since 2003, we’ve helped organisations improve the quality, clarity and effectiveness of their written communications, from social media posts and websites to complex corporate reports and stakeholder communications.
Our roots as copywriters are in business journalism. Our writers have written for organisations and publications including the BBC, The Times, The Sunday Times, The Independent and The Daily Telegraph. That background means we are particularly adept at understanding complex subjects, asking the right questions and communicating ideas clearly, accurately and engagingly.
Today, the content landscape is changing rapidly. AI tools have transformed how businesses create written material, creating new opportunities for speed and efficiency. But they have also increased the importance of editorial judgement, strategic thinking and quality control.
As a specialist copywriting agency, we use AI-assisted workflows selectively and intelligently, combining technological efficiency with experienced human writers and editors who understand nuance, credibility and effective communication.
We help organisations combine the efficiency of modern AI tools with the clarity, originality and professional polish that only experienced human communicators can provide.

AI tools can accelerate drafting, research and content production. But effective communication still depends on human judgement, creativity and strategic thinking. AI-generated content often requires refinement to ensure:
As a specialist copywriting agency, our role is not simply to produce content, but to shape, refine and strengthen it so it communicates effectively and reflects your organisation professionally. Whether we are developing content from scratch, refining AI-assisted drafts or editing complex multi-author documents, our focus remains the same: helping clients communicate clearly, credibly and persuasively.

Alongside our journalism experience, our team has worked with leading creative agencies on campaigns and communications projects for organisations across the globe. This combination of journalistic rigour, strategic thinking and creative insight is one of the reasons clients continue to work with us year after year. We understand that effective communication is about more than simply filling space with words. It is about understanding audiences, shaping messages, building trust and creating content that achieves meaningful business outcomes.
